Fetch does not call a place vetted unless someone has vetted it. Each entry carries one of four labels, and the label is the whole claim.

FAQ (the sniff test)
Is Fetch free?
Yes, on every plan. Searching, saving and opening places uses none of your reads. Booking a place costs what the place charges, paid to the place.
Where do the listings come from?
Listed places come from Google, live, and say so, with the photographer credited on the photo. Checked places were confirmed by a person at Dogoos on a stated date. Claimed places were verified by the business. Nothing is invented: no sample places, no made-up distances, no fake reviews.
Is my location stored?
No. Fetch asks for your approximate location only when you choose to use it, rounds it to about 100 metres on your phone, sends it with that one search, and never stores it against your account. A postcode or a town works just as well and asks for nothing.
Can I book everything?
Only places marked Bookable take bookings through Dogoos. Everything else links to its own website, phone number and directions, which is often all you need.
How do I list my place?
In the app: Fetch → Settings → Run a place. Search for your listing or add it if it is not there, tell us who you are, and a person checks it. It is free, and Business opens on your ordinary account once it is approved.
Does Dogoos take a cut of bookings?
No. The place is the merchant, you pay it directly by bank, and Dogoos never holds the money or charges a fee on it.
