Nearest first, clearly labelled
Open Fetch, pick trainers and behaviourists, and use your location or a postcode. Every card shows the distance and one of four labels (Listed, Checked, Claimed or Bookable), so you can see at a glance how much has been checked. Listed places come from Google and say so.

Places marked Bookable show live availability, the full price before you pay and their own change and cancellation rules. You pay by bank, straight to the place; Dogoos takes no fee. Everything else links to the place’s own website or phone number.
Choosing a trainer
Kind methods, clear goals
Dog training isn't regulated in the UK, so anyone can call themselves a trainer or a behaviourist. Look for someone who belongs to a body that assesses its members, such as a trainer or behaviourist on the Animal Behaviour and Training Council's registers.
Choose reward-based methods. Training that relies on fear or pain can make problems worse, and remote-controlled electric collars are banned in England and Wales.
If a change in behaviour worries you, like new aggression or fear, start with a vet check. Pain is a common cause, and a good behaviourist will ask whether your vet has seen your dog.
A good first session starts with questions about your dog, your home and what you'd like to change, and ends with something small to practise. Between sessions, Ask Rex in the app for ideas to try at home.

What's the difference between a trainer and a behaviourist?
A trainer teaches skills such as recall, loose-lead walking and puppy manners. A behaviourist helps with problems that have an emotional root, such as fear, reactivity or distress when left alone, and usually works alongside your vet.
Classes or one-to-one?
Classes suit puppies and dogs who are comfortable around other dogs. One-to-one sessions suit reactive dogs and particular problems, at home or out on a walk.
