Fetch · Days out

A day out that counts the dog in

Dog-friendly days out near you or near where you are going: parks, scenic spots, nature reserves and attractions, nearest first.

How it works

Searched for dog-friendly days out, not just places

Open Fetch, pick days out, and use your location or a postcode. Fetch asks Google for dog-friendly days out around that spot, so the list leans to parks, scenic spots, nature reserves and attractions that are known for welcoming dogs.

Every card shows the distance, a number and directions, and one of four labels (Listed, Checked, Claimed or Bookable). Where Google records that a place welcomes dogs the card says so, and the "Dogs welcome" filter keeps only those.

Listed

From Google. Nothing checked by Dogoos yet.

Checked

A person at Dogoos confirmed the dog facts, and the date is shown.

Claimed

The business verified its own listing.

Bookable

Takes bookings through Dogoos, paid straight to the place.

Planning the day

Small things that make a long day easy

Check the place's own dog policy before you go: many attractions welcome dogs in the grounds but not indoors, and some ask for leads in certain areas or at certain times of year.

Pack water, a bowl, poo bags and something to lie on. In summer, plan shade and a rest in the middle of the day; in winter, a towel for the car home.

If the day includes a café or a pub, Fetch lists the dog-friendly ones nearby too, so the stop is planned rather than hoped for.

Questions, answered

Days out, answered

Are these all places that allow dogs?

Fetch searches for dog-friendly days out, so the list leans that way, but only a card marked "Dogs welcome" carries Google's own record of it. For anything else, the number on the card is there to ask.

Can I plan a day near where we are staying?

Yes. Type the town or a postcode instead of using your location, and Fetch lists days out there, nearest first.

Does a day out count towards my dog's activity?

Walks you log in Activity count whatever the place. Fetch finds the place; the walk is yours to record.
