Fetch · Vets

The nearest vet, before you need one

Every vet practice near you with a phone number and directions one tap away, so on the day you need one, you're not searching.

How it works

Nearest first, clearly labelled

Open Fetch, pick vets, and use your location or a postcode. Every card shows the distance and one of four labels (Listed, Checked, Claimed or Bookable), so you can see at a glance how much has been checked. Listed places come from Google and say so.

Listed

From Google. Nothing checked by Dogoos yet.

Checked

A person at Dogoos confirmed the dog facts, and the date is shown.

Claimed

The business verified its own listing.

Bookable

Takes bookings through Dogoos, paid straight to the place.

Choosing a vet

Find one before the day you need one

Register with a practice while your dog is well. Many practices ask new clients to register before booking, and a worrying evening is the worst time to find that out.

Ask how out-of-hours care works. Every practice arranges emergency cover, and many send you to a separate emergency clinic at night, so it helps to know where that is before you need it.

Ask about the costs of everyday care, such as vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and dental checks, and whether the practice offers a monthly health plan.

Vets who practise in the UK must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and you can look any vet up on its public register.

Save your practice in Fetch so its number is one tap away, and before an appointment let the Health Hub build a summary of your dog's weight, medications and notes. Our vet visit guide covers what to note down.

Questions, answered

Vets, answered

What should I do in an emergency at night?

Ring your usual practice first: its phone line will tell you where its out-of-hours cover is. If you can't reach anyone, Fetch shows the nearest vets with their numbers and directions.

Can I book a vet appointment in Dogoos?

Vets take appointments through their own booking systems, so Fetch gives you each practice's number, directions and website.

Does Dogoos rate vets?

Fetch lists every practice near you with a label showing how much has been checked, and leaves the choice of vet to you.
