Meet your dog’s new little home: set up their profile, capture an everyday moment and find the tools that make caring for them easier.

Make a home for your pack
Choose your sign-in
Continue with Google, or choose Sign up with email. Apple sign-in is also available on supported Apple devices. Use the same sign-in each time so your dogs and history stay together. You don’t need a payment card to begin.
Introduce your dog
Add their name, breed and birthday, then the details you know about their personality. A clear photo helps you recognise their profile and gives personalised reads a reference. You can come back to the other details later.
Make it feel like yours
Choose a colour and follow the short tour around Home. If you skip a tip, Settings → Support → Walkthroughs & help lets you replay it whenever you like.

Capture a little everyday moment
Check the selected dog
Use the dog selector to choose who you’re reading. Their name and photo should match the dog in front of you.
Tap the paw
In the mobile app, allow camera access when asked. Microphone access adds your dog’s vocal tone; if you leave it off, video reads still work.
Keep it natural
Choose good light and keep their face and body in frame. Add any context that fits, such as dinner time or a new visitor. Start with the five-second clip and let your dog be themselves.
Read the explanation
Look at the mood, confidence and the clues behind the result. It’s a snapshot of this moment, so compare it with what you know about your dog and with later reads.

Choose permissions when you need them
Camera access is needed for a live read. The microphone is optional. Photo access is requested when you choose a picture, and notification permission is requested when you decide to enable alerts.
Fetch can use your approximate location when you choose Use my location. Searching by town or postcode works too. You can review camera and microphone choices in Settings → Privacy & data.
Step by step
Find your daily favourites
Home brings together your dog’s latest read and quick ways to log a meal or activity. Health keeps their care journal and reminders. Memories holds keepsakes and monthly Stories. Play is where you’ll find games and context training; Daily Win holds the wheel and rewards.
Tap Rex when you’d rather say what happened: “Biscuit had breakfast at eight” or “We walked for half an hour”. Review the details before saving. You can use the navigation to switch sections and the dog selector to switch dogs.

Start small and build the bigger picture
Pup includes 1 read a day and one dog. The read allowance resets at midnight UTC. Health, nutrition, activity, routines and text chat with Rex are available on every plan; Rex has a separate daily chat allowance.
You don’t need to fill everything in at once. A useful first day might be one read, a weigh-in and a meal. The everyday-care walkthrough takes you through the rest.

Questions you might have
Can I use Dogoos in a browser?
Yes. Sign in at app.dogoos.com to see your saved reads and manage everyday care. Live camera reads and Doggy Dash need the mobile app. Plan purchases are made through the Android app.
What if my first read is still waiting?
Check Home for the read queue. A capture can wait for a connection and finish after you leave the camera screen. Open its item to see whether it is waiting, processing or needs your attention. The reads guide explains the next steps.
